Perspective on the Iraq thing

Raymond S. Kraft is a writer and lawyer living in Northern California. Here, IMO, is a well written article that puts perspective to the question, "Why are we in Iraq".

A long read, with a lot of historical background, that many of us have probably forgotten from our history classes those many years ago. History, that I suspect , has never registered with, or possibly been taught to, current and younger generations.

He does take the liberty to poke at liberals a bit at the very end, but that shouldn't stand to blind anyone from the main thrust of the article.
