Personal Toolbar Bookmarks

Jul 28, 2004 6:56PM PDT

W2K, Netscape 7

How can I access my Personal Toolbar bookmarks using Bookmark Manager? I don't mean only those showing on the toolbar but also those that are 'hidden' or run off the edge and are accessed by clicking the tiny arrow at the end of the bar. Those aren't listed in the Personal Toolbar Folder in Bookmark Manager.

I would like to delete some of those bookmarks and that can't be done from the list you access from the Personal Toolbar. Does anyone know how I can delete some of the bookmarks?

Can you right click in the toolbar area and get a "choose content" list?

No I don't. Right clicking on the tool bar gives me a menu of options but nothing to do with the bookmarks that have run off the edge of the screen.

The Personal Tool Bar Folder in Bookmarks has all the bookmarks on the Tool Bar and can be deleted there. BUT the bookmarks that have run off the edge of the tool bar are not listed in that folder. At least not in mine.

Do you understand which bookmarks I'm talking about? From the Navigation Tool Bar you can drag the URL icon onto the Personal Tool Bar to create a bookmark, right? Once the tool bar is full all the way across two tiny arrow (>> ) appear on the right edge, clicking them will produce a list of the bookmarks that didn't fit on the tool bar. I have about 30 there and would like to delete some of them but can't. Right clicking in that area produces nothing.

I have gone to Explorer, located the bookmark .HTML file and opened it. It shows the same list as the "Manage" tool for bookmarks in the browser.

I would like to know if anyone else has this same problem or does the fault lie with this computer. It may actually be normal behavior.
