I have a Desktop connected to my WiFi router via Ethernet cable and my laptop connected to the same router via WiFi..... How can I share files and Printer in this network. Please help.

The OS used in all PCs might have to be revealed. Also some routers block sharing with the router firewall. You know your router so adjust as needed (I start with it off/disabled.)

All versions of Windows had FILE AND PRINTER SHARING between computers in the LAN having the same workgroup. It helps if you have the same user names on both computers.
From Windows 7 on there's also the HOMEGROUP.

Google the terms I put in upper case. Then decide on what you want, and then surely you'll find a lot of hits about setup in your version of Windows.
