I believe, however, that each version has been coming with a 3 year limit without upgrading. I don't use its budgeting feature or know how or how well it can do projections based on expected income and expenses. I do know that I pay no fees of any kind to them and can generally pick up an upgrade every three years for about 1/2 retail price.
I have been trying to figure out what would work best for me. I have tried mint BUT if an institution is not supported by mint you cannot manually enter it plus it does not show future items, such as what your bank balance will be if you have payments scheduled to come out of your checking account in the future nor will it show what your balance will be when future deposits are made. I hope I am making sense. This is very important to me for budgeting. I had once used Quicken but I hated having to pay a monthly fee to get the updates from the internet. I would love to hear suggestions.
