Question

Permission to save file

Mar 26, 2017 5:47PM PDT

Up until a few weeks ago, I had no problems with saving a file. Now whenever I try to save a file "UPLOAD FAILED We couldn't verify you have the necessary permissions to upload the file" then gives me another chance to try. Just goes in loops? I did not change anything in my settings for this to occur. From what I see, no system restore either. Any help?

You wouldn't happen to use Norton as an anti virus do you ?
Is it up to date ?

More Information Please.. Saving to OneDrive? Type Of File?

Give us the specifics on what you're doing.. You mention "saving a file"... Is it the same file you're having issues with? Or are you unable to upload ANY file? If saving to OneDrive, which browser are you using to save those files? If Internet Explorer, tried re-setting the browser yet?

IN the meantime, check some of the links below for various fixes for that error:

Hope this helps.
