Performance Test 6.0 - PassMark Rating

by dgm624 / June 15, 2007 1:53 AM PDT

I was testing my performance using PT 6.0 and was wondering why my passmark rating is so low - 450.9 - I was benchmarking it against a similar machine which had an 800 rating and was curious if there is anything I can do to boost performance? Any insight would be appreciated.

Here are my specs:

P4 3.4 Ghz HT
4x 1GB qDi Turbo PC 4200 Ram
Ati x850xt 256mb Vid Card
2x 250GB Western Digital hard drives in a Raid 0 config.
Samsung CD-RW and Samsung DVD-RW DL

You don't want to know...

I had a similar test and the speed went up when I pulled the RAM back to 2GB. Sorry that may not help but that owner was a little put off by the 4GB issues.

the 800 score was probably from a seriously overclocked system. Also what kind of video card did he have?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
