PeoplePC-Browser Hijacker-Beware!

Nov 10, 2007 10:50AM PST

I just want to warn everyone who still may use dial-up that there is an ISP out there that is widely advertised, even by AARP, but who hijacks your browser so you can't use DSL or go wireless on your laptop. You HAVE to connect through them on dial-up or you can't go to any page but theirs! It's PeoplePC. I had it on my laptop until I could get a wireless router for my DSL connection, but after I went wireless I couldn't surf to anything! DON"T download their software and if you have, get Hijack This! to get rid of it. I think this is a scumbag thing to do to their customers and wanted everyone to know about it.
