What is the major difference in these two chipsets?

Is one better or preferable to the other?

Pentium M is the cpu used in the Centrino specification (which includes the Pentium M, a special chipset, and an approved wi-fi minipci card built in).

If ordering now, get a Pentium M 715 or higher which is the new Dothan Pentium M with 2mb L2 cache. The 705 and lower speeds (1.4 or lower) have only 1 Mb L2 system cache.
