Pentium M 1.6 ghz at 798 mhz??

hey i got Star Wars Knights of the old republic for my laptop (dell inspiron 6000 with a 1.6 ghz pentium M 730) and when i checked to see if my comp passed the preformance standards the game said: 1.6ghz Pentium M 730 (@798mhz) and failed me (game requires a 1 ghz processor)

so my question is why is my 1.6 ghz processor only having the preformance of a 800 mhz proccessor? thanks for any help.
