I see the 64-bit wave and know to prepare for such.

However, if you are planning to stick with 32-bit only for the life of the laptop, then the full up P4 can win at games since it usually scorches the lap and doesn't get much time on the battery. Fine for most desktop use.

The other is your truer laptop that can get decent battery life and not singe your pants.

With just what you asked, there is no reason to go one way or the other.
