Question

pentax kr

Oct 28, 2011 4:04PM PDT

I have been using the pentax kr for couple of days, and I like it so far, good picture quality,fast(6fps),great in low light .I have notice a"klunk" sound when I move the camera side to side like something is moving or loose inside, not sure what's that.I tested a canon t3, pentax 5100 and those cameras dont do that.Any ideas?. I'm new with dslr ,any help will be appreciated

Your camera has in-body image stabilization; the sensor is on a floating magnetic chassis. It is completely normal.

Which slr image stabilization system is more reliable, the in-body like the pentax kr has or in the lens image stabilizer (canon, nikon)?

No difference in reliability

Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages, but I haven't seen any testing or reviews that indicate in-body or lens based image stabilization being more durable than the other.
