PDF Converter

I need help badly with Adobe. I am not that computer savvy and I need to convert a MS Word 2003 document into pdf format. I have Abode 7.0 Reader and I do have the print option to the PDF Converter. But every time I attempt to print (or convert) I get a printer error. Please help. This conversion is very important.

Thanks in advance.

Adobe reader is just a program to READ a pdf, not to WRITE it. So that part of your problem statement is not relevant.

"PDF converter" is a different program, made by a different company. In fact there might be several such programs. http://www.google.com/search?q=%22pdf+converter%22 gives quite a few hits about it. You must have it installed yourself sometimes (but, as I said, it doesn't come with Adobe reader, so it must have been a separate install).

Things to try:
- uninstall and reinstall
- install another pdw-writer like Cutepdf (after uninstalling this one). I just did it myself, and it works fine. See www.cutepdf.com/download.htm
- go and get Openoffice from www.openoffice.org (free). The Writer program is a rather MS Word compatible word processor that has Save As pdf build in.

I'm sure one of these possibilities will work.

Does the free program Primo PDF implant a watermark? I'm currently using Cute PDF printer but Primo PDF seems to have a lot more flexibility.
