Question

PDF 995 USER NAME ERROR

Hello guys. I have just installed PDF 995 on a win 10 machine and each time I try to print I get ."The user name for the document in the print spooler queue (NAME) found in Path________\queue.ini does not match your user name ( NAME). Please reprint your document.

Note the space before the second ( NAME).

Anyone got any ideas? I am not a techy type at all

There's an excellent solution for this issue: uninstall PDF 995 and use the pdf-printer that Microsoft introduced in Windows 10 (print to pdf). No need anymore for any third party solution.

Sorry to you have 2 problems. For at least one of them, you're one of the 0,01 percent of users that have it. Better start fixing that.

I have found a set of install instructions on the web somewhere that seems to be accurate. I have installed the Print to PDF thingy and it now seems to work. Fingers crossed.

The native PDF printer is fine for 99.99% of users. Or more.
