About reliable. All of ours at the office are reliable for about 2 years. After that, the wear, tear and drops seem to take their toll. I own a four year old Palm IIIc that has never suffered a drop and is just fine.
In my view, reliability seems to reflect how one treats the unit.

I am purchasing a new pda and am considering the dell axim x30 or x50 vs. the ipaq rx3115 or rx3715. the dells seem to be faster, cooler looking, cheaper for the price, but come with less software. I am concerned about reliability -- this is something i had problems with my ipaq 1710. I am replacing the 1710 in order to get wifi and bluetooth capability. Any suggestions?
Also, does anyone know if a dell, will synch with the pocket pc folder on my pc to allow me to transfer data from my old pda to the new one?? Are all Pocket PC formats compatible? Thanks
