PCI Communication

I have such the error "PCI Communication Driver is not found" appears sometimes in startup.

SOme of my PC info:
Acer AS6100
SMBIOS Version 2.1
System Bios Version V3.2

Modem driver? what will happen to me if such the driver is not installed?
Can I be able to connect to the Internet?

Many don't so it will have no effect. In fact I remove the modem and give it away.

Quite a few google hits for this error reference a modem. But I've also seen the Via 4 in 1 drivers mentioned.

I would advice you have a look in Device Manager to see if there are any devices with an error, then reinstall those drivers. It wouldn't harm to reinstall the motherboard drivers that came with the machine.

But this problem might be part of a bigger issue that also results in the error message from your BIOS in your other post. Then a bigger repair scheme might be needed.
