NDIS Protocol newbie question
I've never seen the error but a search of Google doesn't bring up much...I would try downloading and installing new drivers from the wireless adapter's manufacturer. Another item mentioned, because this problem seems to happen with laptops, try putting a pad underneath the machine to keep it a little cooler. "Heat" seems to create the problem.
Hope this helps.

On Windows XP I'm hooked up to Bellsouth DSL. On the one computer with the router - not a problem. But on this computer with a Netopia wireless adapter, when I go into Event Viewer, I keep getting this same system error: "The PCAMPR5 NDIS protocol driver service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified." I've re-installed the adapter and still get the same error. This error keeps happenning again and again all day long. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
