Question

PC wont start

whel i cant run my Pc, system was ok but one morning it just stoped, i cant even boot it, when i pres power button i get 2 beep's and that is it, i disasamble it and failed to find any failure, i can't test my components so i dont know is it motherboard or is it something else, enyone had similar problems or know what dyed so i can replace it.

The motherboard manual (or, if you don't have that, the customer service of the maker) should be able to tell what those 2 beeps mean. Also, there might be a pattern of LEDs on the motherboard that tells more.

I think it may have something to do with your bios settings or possibly your motherboard battery that keeps the bios working. The two beeps mean something and you will have to look at what type of bios you have or check with the manufacturer. I think it happened to me once before and I changed the battery and went back to the original bios settings. If the computer won't start after changing the battery something more serious could be wrong. It also might be a bad power supply, You can buy a power supply tester to check it. Hopefully you'll get it running soon. I know what it's like to be without a computer for a couple of weeks trying to figure out what is wrong. Lew
