PC will not connect to Internet

Jul 9, 2008 2:21AM PDT

We have 4 PCs connected to the internet by a D-Link 10/100 Fast Ethernet Switch. Everything was fine until I installed some updates from Windows this morning on 2 of the PCs. Now those 2 PCs cannot connect to the internet either by IE or Firefox. One of the PCs gets no error message. The other one gets this error message:

C:\DOCUME~1\ADMIN~1\LOCALS~1|Temp\eud8.htm
Windows cannot find 'C:\DOCUME~1\ADMIN~1\LOCALS~1|Temp\eud8.htm'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again. To search for a file, click the START button, and then click SEARCH

The two PCs that did not get the Windows update are working fine. What do I need to do to get the other tow back on the net?

Thanks,
John W.

get rid of the switch and buy a router.
