PC Upgrade Question

So I am looking to upgrade my setup this holiday season and I don't really know where to begin, I was hoping to just post my current build in this forum and get help to point out the "weakest link" sort of thing, I have no real complaints about my setup as it is but anything to make gaming smoother, look better, and possibly to transition to 4k gaming soon is the goal (I'm just going to post some info I know off the top of my head but anything else you need just let me know)

Windows 10

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790k CPU @ 4.00GHz, 4001Mhz, 4 cores, 8 logical processors

Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 960 16GB RAM

Monitor:
Asus 24' 1920x1080 display, 60htz refresh

You'll shop the usual 1080 video card. The CPU and RAM is fine.

Nothing really jumps at me.

Your ssd is getting kind of full so keep an eye on that.

If you do upgrade to a gtx 1080/1080ti be mindful of your psu.
