PC Upgrade Advice Please

by technonewbie / December 3, 2013 12:41 AM PST

I have an Hp Pavilion p7-1235 desktop. It has an A8-5500 proc and onboard AMD Radeon 7560D graphics. I think the PSU is 260 or 300 watts. Is it possible to add a Graphics Card to this? It has a free PCIe slot?(sorry not to good at this) I believe. I am not looking for any thing heavy, I do casual gaming.
Thanks in advance for anyones help.

Tell a little more. If this doesn't have RAM in matched pairs the onboard graphics speed is reduced but I know folk that play current games on the AMD A8.

With that 300w psu your kind of limited.

You could look into a Hd 6670......that should work.
It will be better but not a huge bump.

Follow what Robert is talking about and stick your nose into that's critical for the Igp to function.
Amount of ram?
Number of sticks?
Speed of the sticks?

I like CPU-Z for this.
