Should work but depends on your PSU....they deteriorate

So a 3.5 year old 350W PSU may be marginal. The worst that can happen is you end up buying a more robust PSU if the existing unit isn't up to the task.

The other thing is...don't forget to consider a new PC. You're adding RAM, video and maybe another PSU. Adding that up takes you closer to making a new PC worth exploring.

Thanks for the advice the only reason im not buying a new pc is im on a tight budget and in time will upgrade the PSU just not at the moment.
