pc/tv monitor combo

Apr 8, 2007 8:29PM PDT

curious as to if anybody owns a pc monitor/with built in tv tuner. Or maybe I'm not stating that right. What I want is an lcd (at least 19") monitor for my pc, that I can also watch tv on, if I'm so inclined. Have they refined this technology yet? Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.
thanks

That you may not be aware of. HD content is not allowed over non-encrypted links like VGA so that pushes you to HDMI (with HDCP) connections which limits your choices fast. It's all a matter of pulling the pieces together but it's not a technological limit but the makers and Hollywood are very afraid. More at http://www.cs.auckland.ac.nz/~pgut001/pubs/vista_cost.html
