PC Tools Spyware Doctor is not anti-virus software. It only detects spyware and adware. I hope you are not accessing the Internet without an active anti-virus application. Try AVG's excellent and free security products

Hope this is helpful.

It is recommended to run only ONE antivirus

It seems I may have misunderstood your question. I have no doubt that apps by PC TOOLS are excellent. However, since no application can detect every single hazard any way, you may want to try out the AVG apps. I, as well as many folks have been using them for years with no trouble. You just don't get a lot of unnecessary bells and whistles.

I hope find this helpful.

Thanks for your advice, i may try AVG, but for now I think I will stick with PC Tools. I also have another post about transferring images and my own ringtones from my PC to my Sanyo Katana II cell phone, It is under the cell phone forum. Is there anything out there that will transfer these files,I have tried Bitpim and Bluetooth, but nothing seems to work. It comes up saying Katana II does not transfer files. Can anyone help with this?

Qwest Sanyo Katana II
by qwestrated / March 12, 2008 3:37 PM PDT

Trying to access my Qwest Sanyo Katana II on my laptop via USB cable, I was unable aquire it (no driver). After scouring the internet looking for a Qwest Katana driver, I called customer support. She said that the phone cannot be plugged into a computer (although several vendors-including data pilot-sell cables & software specifically advertised for this phone/service provider). I downloaded Data Pilot trial software-to no avail. Perhaps this phone feature was dissabled by Qwest (to force the use of their data transfer service?)! I hope this post will save someone the frustration that I've been dealing with.
