check your tv's manual/website and determine what resolutions it can handle. if your tv has true 1080p, try 1920x1080. otherwise, try 14xxx9xx.
if that doesn't work, stick with 1280x720 and look for overscan settings in advanced settings of your pc's display resolution control panel. also, your tv's menu/remote might have a stretch/fill mode that may correct the problem.

I can't find a resolution that works. 1776 x 1000 fits the screen, but its really twitchy/jumpy kinda looks like its vibrating.
1280 x 720 looks great, and everythign is to scale, but cuts off a good portion of each side of the screen.
I have went through each of the resolution settings one by one, and none work. I ran into this problem with my last pc that I hooked to this tv, and a tech wise friends fixed it for me. ( I would ask again, but he is overseas) So if anybody can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it
