PC to PC Audio Transfer via Sound Card

Sep 23, 2005 3:02AM PDT

Is it probable to transfer audio via sound card Line-out of one PC to sound card Line-in of another, converting the format at the same time?
I want to put Real Player sound on CD (wav) so I can listen to it in my car

Just use some recording software.

Technically feasible, but

why do it this way? You will be doing a Digital to Analog to Digital conversion loosing quality and adding noise.

Use a LAN connection to transfer the audio files from one PC to the other. Else do the conversion in the PC having the original audio files.
