Why I ask is the notes on updates plus this one "Update CPU micro code to fix HT flaw issue" could have odd issues if the BIOS is not current.
my computer has always had trouble starting up. It quite often takes 4 or 5 pushes of the power button to turn the pc on / unplug / replug at the wall and hit power on for it to get going. Once going it is great and boots nicely with no problems.
I updated the PC about 6 months ago and changed the mobo, cpu, gpu, ssd and win 10 64bit but not the power supply. To begin with all was well and now I am having the same trouble again with powering on.
Could it be anything but the power supply??
CPU - I5-6600k not overclocked at the moment
MOBO - Z170-gaming K3
Ram - 16gb DDR4
GPU - GTX 1060 6gb
Power supply - Corsair AX850 (I think plenty powerful enough)
Any thoughts would be most welcome!
