Question

Pc stuck on black screen

So I turned my computer on & now it is giving me this error, how in the world do I fix it? I'll be even glad to even have the ability to restore this computer from factory settings! But it would not let me press f11 for Windows restore. Help!

Clarification Request
(NT) Are you using a controller card too boot HDD from?

Answer
So no HDD found?

The PC details are sparse here. Try getting into the BIOS and see if the boot HDD is shown.

If this is some ready to use PC, look for your restore media in case you have to use them.

It's not giving me that option. The f10 key. Is there something I can unplug inside my computer to restart the whole thing from scratch? I don't care about my files

Here's what I'm finding

Getting to the BIOS is hard for many. So your choice to keep trying or just restart the whole thing.

Restart

How can I restart the whole thing?

Sorry no. Here's why.

No PC details means that I have to write in general responses rather than "Unplug Jumper P1 for 5 minutes then replace."

You turn your pc on and all you get is a black screen you see nothing?
You turn your pc on and you see the bios display and then it goes to a black screen?

Black screen

I turn it on & it goes to the weird screen that I print screen in my pervious post. Doesn't give me the option to go into bios. Is there something I can unplug inside my computer to restart the whole thing from scratch? I don't care about my files

Re: weird screen

That's not a weird screen. That is the PC telling you it can't find a hard disk to boot from. Usually, that's a faulty hard disk or a faulty motherboard (or - if you're very lucky - a loose or bad cable). Replacing the broken component usually fixes it. However, remember that both replacing the motherboard and replacing the hard disk involve a lot of follow-up work to reinstall Windows.

However, there's a small chance it's just the contents of the hard disk being corrupted. Then you should be able to boot from your recovery disks (just put in and boot) and reinstall Windows from them. That's the first thing to try.
