PC sound to TV using HDMI 1?

Mar 13, 2009 3:14PM PDT

I can't seem to figure out how to get my PC sound to come through my TV speakers if I'm using HDMI 1. I tried using HDMI 2 and 3, but the image quality is just horrible! I'm stuck using my sound system if I use HDMI 1...which is great until everyone in the house goes to bed but me. Is it possible to do this?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have a Samsung 32" 550.

OK, I figured it out. I didn't realize that the TV had custom settings for each HDMI port. So I plugged in my HDMI 1 and wrote down all settings. Plugged in HDMI 2 and configured it just like my other ports. Fantastic! Makes me feel sheepish, though. :-p
