I am currently running a XPS 8700 with Core i7 4790, GTX 980 and have upgraded PSU at 700w.
When I play a video game, PC shuts off randomly during intense moments. I have checked the temperatures and they are fine and drivers are all updated.
Currently the only way that I am able to avoid the shutdowns is by using MSI afterburner to under clock my GPU. This works fine, but I would like to be able to use my GPU to full capacity.
I am thinking this may be a hardware problem with either my GPU or PSU. Can anyone help to confirm?
