It's a known issue. Only certain encodings of files will play fine. The fact that a PS3 or PC plays the files OK only proves that these play fine on a PS3 and PC. Again, very well discussed and I hope I can hurry you along to the usual conclusion.
I have a Samsung PN58C550 television with an ethernet network connection. I have installed PC Manager on my home server (windows home server). I have no problems connecting to it, and watching videos hosted from the home server. However, I have horrible audio sync problems. After 5 minutes (or there abouts) of watching any video the audio goes out of sync with the video and its very annoying. People are talking but the sound is 1 to 2 seconds ahead or behind. I usually have to pause and restart the video.
Is this a known issue, or common problem? Anything that can be done to improve this issue? I don't have problems watching the same video through my PS3 (using DLNA). I don't have the same problems when I watch the videos on my laptop or desktop pc.
