When using PC Share Manager has anyone been able to share folders from a remote USB drive? No problem sharing from the C:\ drive.

share manager 2 works.

I managed to share my USB hard drive with the Share manager 2 dvd that came with the TV , although it was slow to select musuc movies etc I could wach a movvie from my USB hdd fine. (ignoring the fact that Share manager is the slowest piece of rubbish ever written)... I upgraded to the latest version and the programmers(tools) that write the software have now made it not allow you to select a USB hard drive it comes up with an error that says must select folder... So rather than provinding bug fixes they have made their software un usable... So I revered to the older version.... I think samsun nneds to consder firing their software team if this is the best rubish that they can deliver....

Go back to version 2 and things might work...

Not seeing actual photos or mp3's on PC Share Manager
Sep 29, 2010 3:07AM PDT

katzzer, You mentioned no problem from the PC. I have a question for you: I'm seeing my computer directories from the TV, andt when I click on Music, Photos, etc., I get to see my sub-folders. But when I finally click on a sub-folder that should have the photos, or mp3's, instead I see a 'sub-folder' icon, nothing else. If I click on that, I just go back to the list of sub-folders I previously saw. How do you get to the actual music or photos I have on my computer? Is there something else I should press on my remote when I see that sub-folder to get there?
Thanks!
