PC Share crashing

by CrotalusHH / July 26, 2009 9:28 AM PDT

I have multiple hard drives on my PC.

I am using v 2.1

If I share a single folder on drive C; everything works (except for all the files that give me an audio codec error).

When I share a folder on two other drives I can't see the additional folders. Strangely when I look at the properties of the folders inside PC Share all 3 folders are listed as Content: Folder 0 File (correct number of files).

The refresh button works fine, but I still see only one folder on the TV (LN55B650).

When I hit the Set Changed State the progress bar comes up then I get the error "Program:...msung\SAMSUNG PC Share Manager\WiselinkPro.exe File:libavformat/utils.c Line: 1967 Expression: s->chapters->start <=s-chapters->start" Then the program crashes but seems to be still acting as a server in the background.

One of the HDrives is 1 Tera Byte. Is the size a problem?

One more piece of info.

PC Share will work with the 500 gig drive and the 200 gig drive, but it crashes on the 1 terabyte drive.

CrotalusHH,

Are you sharing the drive itself, or a folder within the drive? Sharing a drive won't work. So have the folder as a shared folder in Windows, and then add that folder to the queue. The files in that shared folder should work.

I am sharing 3 different folders on 3 different drives.

I can only see the folder on the first drive.

PC Share doesn't like some files

I started playing the movie files that would show up one at a time and I found that if I removed the ones that the TV refused to play the crashing problem went away.

It is strange that some will play through the USB but not through DLNA.

CrotalusHH,

Do you have any file information on the files that were able to play through the USB but not the PC Share application? I'm not asking for a rundown on your entire library, but I'd like to escalate this and a few examples would be helpful.
