PC Share 2.32 question

by gec5741 / January 27, 2010 11:02 PM PST

I am seeing that there is a new version of PC Share for my samsung LED tv. I have the Un55B8000. Please tell me that this version resolves the random issues with being able to FF or REW video streamed from a computer! It is so frustrating to be able to skip a head or back on one video file and not the next. There's no rhyme or reason that I can see either! I have been taking some of my movies that I own and converting them to AVI format so I have them at the touch of a button. I can use the exact same process on one movie and create roughly the same file size using the same software with all the same settings and one will allow me to skip ahead and back but the next one will not. Maybe if I knew what the reason was I could learn to avoid it but I have not been able to find any reason for why it happens. So please let this new version of pc share fix this issue. I update the firmware on the tv when ever a new release is available also.

Thanks in advance.

limitations?

Is there anything that outlines what formats to use because it seems to be hit or miss. I use the same format and do the same thing when I convert to avi format and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. and why does it work perfectly from a usb stick? From what I've read other dlna devices like ps3's don't have these limitations.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
