I don't know of any DLNA servers with screen capture/streaming. On your PC, are the soccer matches/movies you have being streamed from the web onto your PC? If yes, then you could try a DLNA server that has URL streaming (Tversity, Serviio, etc.) so that the DLNA server downloads & streams these web feeds to your TV.
Recently, Im finding a way to share my PC screen to HDTV for playing soccer matches and other movies of unsupported formats as my PC and the TV is in different floors (cannot connect directly by VGA/HDMI)
Here is my current config:
A CAT5 is connected between the router and the PC, another one connected between the samsung HDTV and the same router.
I tried samsung softwares like AllShare and PC Manager but seems they don't offer me the screenshare function.
Later, I tried looking for a router with VGA/HDMI output, only intel WIDI routers were found instead.( I dont have core CPU as required)
Any other means to achieve the screenshare??
(I dont mind any alternatives like using the USB port. But, the big point is that the wireless router(buffalo) must be the intermediary.)
Thanks guys!
