A surprise is that some JAVA code pegs the CPU meter and in turn the CPU heats up and resets or the power supply dips out and you get a reset. Some will go into denial that such can be a cause. After they format the drive and install the OS a few times, then they converse with me about what's in the PC as to CPU, RAM, drives, power supply rating, removing the case cover and so on.
When IE is loading some Java my PC restarts (not all Java sites cause this!!). I am running Windows XP and have the latest version IE. Last night I tried to fix my problem myself, but I couldn't find out how to resolve this. I downloaded the latest edition of Java 2 Runtime Environment from java.com and still I have a problem. I have tried reinstalling the Java 2 Runtime Environment and this does not help. The pages I am having problems viewing (really only 1 or 2 off the top of my head) CAN be viewed by friends (who are also using XP).
I'm not sure what other information you might need. I really want to resolve this issue ASAP...
