pc restarts......gpu problem.....

My pc keeps on restarting at welcome screen ........i tried several things even formatted os....and then i noticed that whenever i install my gpu driver only then problem starts...safe mode works too......i dont know whats happening up till now the driver was working fine.....even so i tried old versions but no results.......and when i uninstall the driver pc starts up.....
My config is

I5 3570. 3.10ghz
8gb ram
Asus Gtx 560 1g

I have corsair 550 watt psu.....and it was working uptill now.........with the same gpu.....

I removed the gpu and used integrated mobo graphic.....now it works......and one thing to remind is that after restart pc shows a BSOD......is my gpu dead ?????

Reseat the card in the slot a few times.
Reseat the aux power connectors a few times.
Test.

If it still fails consider getting a new video card.

Or the OS is blown in some odd way. I can't know if you ran torrents or registry cleaners or there was some infection.

Any BSOD details? In fact, any more to this story?

As to "formatted OS." That isn't enough detail to tell me you know what to do before and after you install Windows. That is, here I know to unplug all USB things I can, start with a current BIOS then install Windows. After that I install motherboard drivers, audio, video and things like WiFi, LAN and such.

Sir to tell you in detail.......i was using this gpu for over a year without any problems.......for these last two months my pc was shut off.....and i started it first everting was fine it worked for an hour i even played games on it......on the second run it restarted after a hour or so.......and from then problem started......at first few trys pc started but after few minutes it restarts.........
Then i thought that my be my windows 7 was corrupt so i formatted the entire system.......and it started working..........but as soon as i installed my gpu driver it restarts again and again showing that bsod.......

And gpu was the not over heating cause i had set alarm if temp goes above 85........

As suggested bij Bob__B above: replace the video card.
