Hello there ladies and gents!
I'm in need of your help! Before I go completely insane!
See, about a two or three years ago my pc started to restart randomly with no error what so ever, simply my monitor went to sleep first and seconds later the pc restarts as nothing ever happened. Those restarts have been quite rare to an point where it didn't bother me as much, so I kind of lived with it.
Recently however my friend sold me hus old pc rig for a couple of quid, and after upgrading a lof of components, the problem still persists!!!!
My old rig was CPU: q8300 MB: XFX nforce 780i GPU: HD7770 PSU: OCZ sw 750w RAM: unknown brand (8gb, 800mhz)
So once I've got my hands on few components I hough I might replace the faulty one, but unfortianelly even on my new rig, it's still happening.
New rig: CPU: QX9650 MB: ASUS STRIKER 2 NSE GPU: ZOTAC GTX 770 PSU: COOLERMASTER REALPOWER M1000 RAM: CORSAIR CMX8GX3M1A1333C9 (8gb)
So the only thing I can point at is the HDD, which is a WDC GREEN 1T and the only component that wasn't changed. ANY suggestions? AND what are the odds, it's the hard drive? PLEASE guys I need your help.
I don't it's a temp issue, my CPU never goes above 40 degrees.
Thank you !
