It is DEFINITLEY a temperature issue. I set my PC to warn me by beeping if the CPU got to hot, and it started beeping right before restarting.
As of late, within the last month or two, my PC has been randomly restarting itself when I am playing certain games.
An example is Arma 3, World of Warcraft, and Cities Skylines. The last one (cities skylines) is by far the worst, it crashes 5-20 minutes into playing.
I've checked the temperature, CPU gets to about 43*C and GPU gets to about 60-65 and sometimes a little higher but no more than 70 during game time. So I'm fairly sure it's not overheating but I'm not saying it's impossible.
I can play some games like GTA V for hours without any issues.
I'm thinking it could be the PSU.
My specs are as follows:
8 GB Ram
CPU: AMD FX(tm) 4130 Quad-Core
PSU: Corsair VS650
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770
(I'm not sure if I've stayed all my specs or not, just let me know)
As said, it only happens when playing some games, when it's idle it's fine, some games like GTA V or Medieval II total war are fine, but arma 3 or Cities Skylines (which is a CPU intensive game, but the crashing always occurs shortly after launching)
Thanks guys, any help is appreciated.
