need info to work with. what is the full computer model? what operating system? can you turn it back on immediately or do you have to wait? did you install anything prior to this issue? go into safemode, will it stay on there? finally at what point does it turn off - during the startup process, when you are trying to run certain programs? or what? be specific.

finally if you are able to get into safemode and it does not shut off, try doing a system restore to a previously save restore point prior to the problem. if you have an os disk, you can use that also.

1. When you turn on your system make sure your fan is running.
2.If its running , re-install your OS but if its not power off your system.
3.Clear off the dust on your CPU fan. Air is not getting throught the cpy thats why system is shutting down itself so that the computer would not catch fire.
4.Once your are done close back everything and plug on the system.Start your Pc it should load up.
