pc keeps crashing

hiya i have windows xp pro on my pc version 2002, service pack 2
intel(r)
pentium(r) 4cpu
1.80 ghz
1.79 ghz
248mb of ram
im having problems it keeps crashing with a blue screen coming up,it also freezes quite often, its very annoying please can u help me

Let's try one of the usuals.

Remove the case cover (power off please) and dust it out. Take a shot of clean air to the CPU heatsink, leave the cover off and try again.
