1. Checking if the machine BIOS and other firmware is current?
I can check some of those for you with a SPECCY report.
How? Read https://www.piriform.com/docs/speccy/using-speccy/publishing-a-speccy-profile-to-the-web
2. Did you try pulling down hardware acceleration one notch?
https://help.aol.com/articles/how-to-lower-hardware-acceleration-in-windows-7-8 covers W10 as well.
3. Drivers. Try using the current drivers that your products have at their respective web pages. Do not go off the reservation.
My PC will freeze when playing GPU heavy game like Overwatch and The Witcher 3 less than 20min. The GPU load normally will reach 99%. While playing other low GPU usage game, I found no problem.
Right now I suspect it may be GPU or sound driver's problem.
Temp should not be the cause, when freezing, GPU temp is 65C, CPU 45C, motherboard 45C. And I just assembled the PC, so it will be no dust.
Currently I am using the audio jack port on motherboard, so I disable Nvidia sound driver to exclude the problem. But freezing still happens both when enabling and disabling Nvidia sound driver.
All drivers are up to date, and there is no flaw on HHD, SSD and memory, my spec:
