Question

PC does not recognize HHD

Apr 30, 2020 8:12PM PDT

Pc died last year, had to replace the hard drive, but it never recognized the new HD. I was given a SSD to install windows on, and have been using that ever since. I have bought four hard drives since then, but my PC has not recognized a single one.

Symptoms
The Hard drives do not show up in Bios at all.
The hard drives do not start up. They are still when the pc is on.
I have switched out the cables several times.
I have switched the Cables from the working SSD to the HDD, but it has not worked.

Help? Ive been at a loss for over a year, and would really like more space on my pc.
