Reset the cmos and test.
If no help start making it smaller.
Remove/unplug stuff.
When you get down to psu/mobo/cpu+hsf if it still won't power up move the mobo/cpu/hsf out of the case and on to a piece of cardboard.
If it still won't power up your down to 3 parts.
Hello.
My PC just died right after I Plugged the network cable in. What it's doing now is that it is starting for 1-2 seconds and then just restarts and repeats the process until I manually turn off the computer on the PSU Switch.
10 minutes earlier I added an extra monitor, the main monitor in the HDMI output, whilst having the other one in a DVI adapter with a VGA output. Might it have something to do with that?
The network cable do have a metalcasing and while trying to plug it In failed a few times since I really didn't see all the way in, is it possible that I touched something and that way caused a short circuit?
My computer died in March last year, I changed the motherboard and it worked like a charm again.
I've tried running without the GPU, one Ram at a time in different sockets. Will resetting the cmos help at all? Is there something more I can do?

MB: Asus Z87-A
SSHD: 1 TB
PSU: BeQuiet 550W (If I'm not mistaken)
