Got a feeling on that one. Your specs are just fair for gaming at higher levels, heavier graphics card might help a bit. But the main issue is likely the power supply E machines usually incorporate about a 250 watt supply, it really needs more than that. Go to your local electronics box store and get something around 500 watts (they aren't expensive and are easy to retrofit). It sounds like the supply isn't up to the task you need to go bigger. Good luck!!
So I've been having some issues with my computer when I play higher graphic games such as America's Army and Warcraft3. The games play fine, but then at random times the computer crashes. The monitor goes black and the power button on the computer flashes. I'm unable to turn off my computer or restart it with the power button and I have to actually unplug the power cord and wait about ten second before it shuts down. I've tried clearing all the dust out and cleaning it up making sure there was no dust causing it to overheat.
I have an Emachine model T6524 running on Windows XP, 2 gigs of RAM, AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+. Graphics card is 128MB ATI Radeon Xpress 200 series.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
