I wonder. After the battery, be sure to use the BIOS setup, set the date and such then save, exit.
Hi
I bought my PC about 2 years ago. Mostly, my PC runs very well, but in some periods (like now), my pc often crashes randomly. It has been a few months since I haven't had thoses crashes, but now it comes back. It's the second time that my PC crashes in 2 days now.
My PC crashed a few minutes ago. Suddenly, there was a really quick message from Windows (showing for a second or 2, so didn't have time to read it) saying that they are sorry for this problem or something like that. Then, this screen appeared : http://prntscr.com/f4772s
I typed in "exit", hoping to be able to shut down my computer, but it went to my BIOS. I tried to exit my BIOS, it asked me "do you want to save configuration and reset" i clicked yes, because i didn't change anything to the configuration so i guess there's nothing wrong with that. But then the screen (the screen where i sent a picture of) came back and back, so I shut down my computer. When I switched my computer back on, all worked like before.
As I said this problem often happens in periods, so usually when this happens I just shut down my computer and restart it after waiting a bit and it works back. Sometimes, a screen appears saying "all values have been reset to default" or something like that (i really don't remember, i'm sorry) but then it says
- press F1 to run setup
- press F2 to continue --> i always press F2 as someone told me to do so.
I really don't want it to happen again, as it frustrates me a lot when my pc crashes so randomly. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
PC Specs :
Windows 10 (X64) 1607
Intel Core i7 4790K
MSI Z97 GAMING 7 (MS-7916) 1.0
32 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Hard Driver WDCWD30EZRX-22D8PB0 of 2.73 TB SATA III
I don't think there is something wrong with my PC Specs as they are very performant in my opinion, but I've seen on the internet the problem could be caused by the hard driver, a solution would be changing the SATA port. But I really don't know anything of inside a PC so I don't want to take risks.
Thanks alot and have a good day/evening
