If your motherboard (you don't tell which one) supports this CPU (in stead of the one you have now, you don't tell which one) and your motherboard supports the DDR2 memory it uses now, everything will be fine.
And why do you need a new CPU?

Hi, guys.
I have a PC which was custom built and I have had it for 2-5 months now. My motherboard supports DDR2 NOT DDR3. I looked online and found a
Intel Pentium Processor G630 (3M Cache, 2.70 GHz). I live in Pakistan so this processor and RAM was the only cheap one there was online. I have 1 question, here it is: On the processor page it says that the processor memory type is DDR3-1066 so will my current DDR2 2GB memory cards work on it?
Thanks in advance.
