I didn't see where you used canned air and replaced thermal paste. Don't rely on heat sensors.

PS. A new cmos battery might help, cheap!
Hello Everyone,
Was hoping someone may be able to advise. My old desktop PC has started playing up. It only boots about 1 in everyone 20 times. When it does post and boot sometimes I get a white screen at the login screen or just after I manage to get into Windows. Most of the time it doesn't even post. I have tried the following;
*Tested the power supply with a paper clip and just the HDD connected and it works OK - I dont have a space for testing...
*Removed and re-seated and RAM and tested each stick in different slots - pretty sure then RAM is OK as it does boot up on occasion but doesn't work for long.
*When it has booted ive gone into safemode but get same white screen
*Have managed to get into the BIOS before which works but CPU temp etc shows OK
*Reset taken the CMOS battery out and put back in
Most of the time it either keeps power cycling and turning off or I get nothing on screen, blank though the monitor can tell a device is connected. Even when I get it booting it usually fails after a minute or two at the white screen.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Kind regards
