PC audit system (not Belarc)

by fjacky / October 19, 2006 10:27 PM PDT

Hello All,

I am looking for a program exactly like Belarc Advisor (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) but a little more powerful. It lists everything, but I'm looking for something that will give more detailed info on the hard drive. Are there any programs out there that actually tell you what brand of hard drive you are using? With Advisor, they tell you size and partitions, not actual make.

Any thoughts?

There's also a free version of Everest available. While it was removed from their site and they will offer no further releases of it, you can download the very solid program by clicking here.

Hope this helps,
John

None find things like power supply ratings.

But http://www.sitekeeper.biz/systems-management.asp is a step up.

You write "more detailed info on the hard drive" but all we need is the make and model number. NO software known will hit a search page for the rest of the specifications.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
