PBS :: Wall of Separation

I saw this last night on one of our PBS stations. Apparently it has caused some controversy in some quarters. I thought it was very good and thoughtful and for some may challenge what they they "know" about the First Amendment. I recommend it highly.

Discussing the intentions of the founding fathers when it comes to religion and the role it played in their lives and government is a somewhat tricky proposition when one considers that Deism was one of the dominant schools of religious thought. A different brand of Christianity that does not entirely sync up with the publicly expressed beliefs of our current president.

Thanks for the tip about the show Ed... I hope to check it out.
