Im running a HP Pavilion ZE4900. It came with 256meg memory. The video memory is taken from this 256meg. I want to upgrade to either 512meg or 1 gig. It runs a 1.3 celeron processor. Which of the memory upgrades would do me the most good. Will 1 gig be noticably faster than 512?

Have you checked to see how much ram

your machine can accept (and what type ram you need)? If it will take a gig, it will run better for the addition. RAM is like great tires on a car, the cheapest and best way to improve performance (perhaps aside of a faster HDD).
